Got Your Six
Inspiration.fit is so happy to announce our new project “Got Your Six” Charity Design. We have teamed up with two truly inspiring army veterans, Reinalyn and Angela, to get this motivational message out and help support a great cause along the way.
How it all started...
In mid April we received a call from Reinalyn Twellman, a mother of 3 and an army vet, regarding an order she had just placed. After talking about sizing and shirts, the call then turned into a conversation about a passion Reinalyn and our team both share- supporting and empowering women to be the best they can be. Reinalyn expressed to us that she was looking for an outlet to give back to her military community but couldn't quite figure out how. We encouraged her to explore this idea more and let us know if we could help in any way.
A few days later, we received an email from an excited Reinalyn. She told us that after our talk, she felt more motivated than ever to make a difference. She met with her friend Angela Mitchell, who also shared this ambition for giving back, and the light bulbs started going off.
The Determined and Dynamic Duo

Reinalyn and Angela are both Army veterans who supported Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. After serving their time, they both took jobs working with the federal government and began focusing on growing their families. Now, full-time working mothers of three children each, they felt it was time to give back to their brothers and sisters-in-arms. Although they both feel fulfilled with their careers and personal life, they know that they wouldn't be where they are today without the military. Their time in the army helped shape them into the women they are today and gave them a support system like no other.
This dynamic duo knew they wanted to fundraise for a veteran-oriented charity and help motivate and support this community that gave them so much.
After sharing experiences and ideas with one another, Reinalyn and Angela came up with the vision for the “Got Your Six” charity design. They emailed us about this idea, and their passion for this project quickly became infectious within our team. In the weeks following, Reinalyn and Angela met with local nonprofits, while we came up with a design we all loved. Although this partnership was unexpected, it has been an absolute pleasure working with these inspiring ladies.
Got Your Six
In the military, “Got your six” means, “I have your back.” Although the usage of this phrase is quite literal during combat, this expression off the battlefield is used to let others know that “I’m here for you, no matter what.” We believe it's time to share these supportive words with others and get this motivational, military inspired, message out to the world. It’s time we all work together to lift each other up and empower one another with love and support.
The majority of profits raised from this charitable design campaign will go directly to a reputable Virginia-based nonprofit, vetted by Reinalyn and Angela. We hope this message speaks to you, as it did to us, and you can feel proud wearing this design. Not only are you helping support a great cause, but you are also supporting others. By wearing this design you are helping share this message of support to all those around you; your local law enforcement, the active and retired military community, friends, family and even strangers. Lets help empower those around us by getting this simple message out -- I’m here for you. I have your back. I’ve got your six.

Update
On Wednesday May 17th, Reinalyn attended the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month 2017 Congressional Ceremony in Washington DC. The month long celebration pays tribute to the contributions the Asian/Pacific American community has made in American history, government, military, arts, science and culture.
Reinalyn was honored to be able to be a part of this event and show her support for her community. She knows they have her back, and she wanted to show her support, with help from our "Got Your Six" charity design.
Here are some pictures Reinalyn took from this wonderful event.
